With more than twenty years experience helping business leaders of major companies, she provides expertise on commercial opportunities related to reputation and brand positioning. Using thought leadership in the development and implementation of institutional relationships, she guides strategic planning for revenue growth through fostering institutional relationships on industry platforms.
Before founding Daintree Advisory she directed strategic engagements that included global external industry relationships and branded client gatherings for Willis Towers Watson and was responsible for the company’s partnership engagement with the World Economic Forum. She spent ten years producing investor events for ABN AMRO, ING Barings and the investment bank Furman Selz. Her experience spans a broad spectrum of events, from the Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) to sports marketing programs including the Volvo Round the World Ocean Sailing race and the ADT Golf Skills Challenge with NBC Sports.
Born in Manchester, England, where she graduated from Manchester’s UMIST with a BA (with honors), Alison started her business career in the fashion industry, moving to New York to work on Seventh Avenue. In the UK she bought private label fashion for well-known high street stores, and on Seventh Avenue she was the national buyer of ladies knitwear for Macy’s.
